Good to know
- GATE accepts a photo from 200 × 260 to 530 × 690 px (5–600 KB) on a plain white background, with the face covering 60–70% of it, and a signature from 250 × 80 to 580 × 180 px (3–300 KB). Our preset sits safely inside these limits.
Tips so your form is not rejected
- Use a recent colour photo with a plain light background. The face should be clear, with no cap or dark glasses.
- Sign with a black pen on plain white paper and take the picture in daylight. Do not sign in capital letters.
- Upload the photo in the photo box and the signature in the signature box. Swapped files are a common reason for rejection.
- Keep the same signature you will use at the exam centre.
